A little bit about SILPA

The School of (East) Indian Languages & Performing Arts was incorporated in 1981 to provide a suitable means to the citizens of Calgary to study the languages and culture of the Indian sub-continent. Our aim is to provide this in a classroom setting and thereby promote and preserve Indian languages culture.  SILPA is a non-religious, non-profit organization operated by volunteers.
